Made in the 1950s by Simmons Fastener Corporation, Menands, these innovative zippers feature an anti-fabric jam system with a small tab below the zipper, which can be lifted to release the stuck material from the zipper jaws ( Source: The Knickbocker News - January 22, 1954 ) They are therefore perfect for clothing and to use with delicate materials (See video demonstration).
