This silver medal is very beautiful and in excellent condition. The front shows Saint-Joseph holding the infant Jesus in his arms on one side and a lily flower on the other, a symbol of his purity, his intense faith and his absolute confidence in divine providence. French inscription "St-Joseph modèle de pureté" (St-Joseph model of purity). There is also an unidentified punch on the lower portion. The back of the medal is particularly ornate, with the star-crowned Virgin of the Immaculate Conception in the center of a delicately worked Art Nouveau spirit floral frame
