A beautiful dress in thin and light taffeta, made by a housewife from the 1950s. Nice woven plaid fabric, white and gold on a beige background. Traditional shape with fitted bust (large bust), slim waist and flared skirt with slight pleats. Short sleeves. Closes at the front with small press studs and a hook, concealed under a pleated border and decorative buttons. Small cords on the sides of the waist for a belt. Can be worn with or without a pettycoat, for more or less volume (not included).
